Ian Buckley

Hi, I’m Ian Buckley …. Also known as Doot!

I’ve been with Go For It for 4 years now but before that I drove HGV Class 1 vehicles for the Milk Marketing Board Northern Ireland and also taught HGV Class 1 and 2 for the board.

I’ve got my motorcycle licence and I also trained for Formula Ford Racing. At the other end of the scale I’ve also got licences for 4 different types of forklifts and I used to train staff for their licence test on forklifts.

As I said, I used to drive liquid loads for the Milk Marketing Board Northern Ireland and I’ve also driven long distance for Mansel Davies – you know, the lorries you see all over the UK – and been a white van man!

I train my pupils in a Volkswagen Polo TDI (yellow of course) and I cover the areas of Milford Haven, Neyland, Haverfordwest, Fishguard and Newport through to Cardigan.
